Welcome to Parkview Intermediate School!
Parkview Intermediate School was built in 1962 and is one of twelve schools in the North Lawrence Community School Corporation which is located in Bedford, Indiana. The school is within the city limits of Bedford which has an approximate population of 14,000. The school corporation covers the northern part of Lawrence County and provides services to some special education students from other areas of the county as well as surrounding counties. PVI serves grades three, four, and five with a student population of 275 students. PVI also provides an education for approximately 60 students with varying degrees of learning disabilities. The school has one full time administrator and 18 full time teachers. They average 18.5 years in experience. The staff is a group of professionals dedicated to the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. This is accomplished by frequent participation in professional conferences, workshops, and in-services. This dedication reflects the desire to provide excellence for the community and its educational system.
